We all have dreams and aspirations that we want to accomplish in life but the thing is that we don’t always know which path to follow for that. Many people want to go abroad for completing their future studies and creating a full fledged future for themselves, but they often find themselves in the situation of not knowing how to tackle studying abroad, how to afford it etc. Here we will be talking about one specific place for studying- Vancouver. For the purpose of removing students out of their misery the study permit in Vancouver was made. You might have heard about it but might still have felt confusion over certain aspects of studying permit, so let me simplify it for you.
Basically it is a written authorization which can only be issued by an officer. Due to this, foreign nationals are allowed to study in Canada at DLI, which stands for designated learning institution. Obtaining a study permit is the only way which lets foreign nationals to study in Canada. You can apply for this at the Canadian visa office but before doing so you need to get an acceptance letter from designated learning institution. This letter needs to be strictly issued by a Canadian institution.
Things required for issuing of permit.
- You need to show the officer that you are capable of meeting other requirements such as immigration and refugee protection act (IRPA).
- You need to supply official proof that you are financially capable of handling yourself in Canada during your studies. If the study program is of more than one year, then you can only give the proof upto one year.
- During the checking stage it is important that you have a clean record and have no criminal background/history of any kind. It can be asked of you to provide the police clearance certificate.
- You have to show the government officials, that you have enough family ties in your hometown, so that when your studies have finally completed then, they can be assured of your return to your home country.
