  • Renault Megane RS – hot version of Renault’s new hatchback aims to topple the SEAT Leon Cupra and Honda Civic Type R when it goes on sale, probably in 2017
  • SEAT Arona crossover – smaller SUV to take on Juke and C4 Cactus
  • Toyota Yaris hot hatch – more potent version of the Yaris will go on sale in late 2017

December 2017

  • Skoda Kodiaq vRS – rapid SUV could feature a twin-turbo 237hp diesel engine
  • Tesla Model 3 – 3 Series-sized Tesla should have a mainstream price
  • Toyota FT-1 (Supra) – jointly developed with BMW, new coupe will be rear-wheel drive
